I had to go by boat, but the waters where quiet. ( Thank the troll-gods, because if I get wet I grow to a 189ft tall ogre )
I am now at Anker Brygge, in Svolvær, Lofoten. The lofoten islands is well known for its stunning nature, and this is basically the heart of it. To be specific, Anker Brygge is located at the island called Lamholmen.
Anker Brygge is a full-service resort, offering 27 exclusive self-contained boathouses and suites, conference facilities, a gourmet restaurant and the town’s most popular dockside bar and al fresco dining. The boathouses are all built in the traditional style and feature a cosy lounge, kitchen and two en-suite bedrooms, as well as a private quayside terrace where guests can enjoy a morning coffee while relishing spectacular views of the mountains and fjord.
A trip to Anker Brygge gives you everything you could want in the way of comfortable overnight accommodation, delicious food, relaxation and activities. All in one place and just 150 metres from Svolvær Torg.
Lofoten itself is a paradise for all kinds of exciting activities both for trolls and humans! While I am here I will take part in Lofoten’s famous seasonal cod fishing – Lofotfisket, I will do a private Zodiac safari, go surfing, go hiking in the mountains, experience the magic of the Northern Lights, ( again, I cant get enough of the magical green lights! ) I will also attend a Viking feast, visit museums and art galleries, and indulge in some retail therapy.
See http://anker-brygge.no/en/home for more information and join me up here this summer!
